So here we go again…this time of the year has come.
The time of the year when everyone comes with their New Year’s resolutions. Since it’s a begging of new year, new chapter of our lives we feel motivated for changes, we feel motivated to improve ourselves and we try to do so.
“This year I will start going to the gym”, “this year I will lose these extra 5 kilos”, “this year I will start saving money for new car”, “this year I will eat healthy” and so it goes on.. Boring right? Yeah I agree…
These are the most common New Year’s resolutions there are…and unfortunately most of them fail after a month.
But let’s focus on making New Year’s resolution different than your friend or neighbor and way easier to fulfill. Yes there is one like that. And it’s a resolution that might change your life as well as losing weight or going to the gym. Actually this one might replace the need to go to the gym 😉
“This year I will have more sex with my partner and make our sexual fantasies come true” How does that sound? Sounds like fun! And lots of pleasure! And creating long stable loving relationship. You’re welcome! And now get it going!
If you still need some extra motivation to start with this New Year’s resolution here are some of medical proved benefits of having (safe!) sex.
Sexual activity helps keep your immune system humming.
People who have sex once or twice a week (not that often at all we say!) have higher levels of what defends your body against germs, viruses, and other intruders. Another one is as simply as that: having sex will make sex better and will improve your libido as well as lower your blood pressure.
If your other resolution was to go back to the gym and exercising erase this one and save money for gym membership buying sexual toys. Sex is a very good exercise burning five calories per minute. It bumps up your heart rate and uses various muscles. So get busy! You may even want to clear your schedule to make time for it on a regular basis like with exercise, consistency helps maximize the results!
Another reason if these are not enough, a good sex life is good for your heart, helps keep your estrogen and testosterone levels in balance. And last but not least sex eases stress and anxiety and helps falling asleep easier and faster-you might simply nod off after 🙂
